Jack La Lanne Juicer Review

If you want to juice, I believe this is a great way to go! I have had my Jack La Lanne juicer now for several years, with no issues or complaints. In fact, I praise this juicer for doing what it does well, making delicious, nutricious juice easy, fast, and with as much pulp as possible. What I especially like about this juicer is how little prep is required for your produce. You can leave an apple and orange whole— skin, peel, and all! All you need to do is wash your fruits and veggies and cut some into large pieces, then juice. It’s very easy to use, easy to clean ( it can be cleaned in 4 minutes), and fun!

I’ve been impressed by all the combinations of fruit and vegetables I can combine and feel the variety is endless! I’m always amazed too by the delicious concoctions I’ve been able to make. I recommend you use on average 4-5 ingredients. Preferably, 2 vegetables and the rest fruit. I love juicing cucumber, celery, and cabbage and apples, carrots, watermelon, and strawberries make fantastic juices!

I personally recommend juicing to anyone who feels they need more fruit and vegetables in their diet, and who have trouble getting them other ways. If you are not much of a cook, juicing is a great alternative! If you like something healthy and quick, juicing could be the answer. However, I don’t recommend juicing in lieu of a meal. Personally, I would take juice along side a smaller meal or snack, since it’s mostly raw carbohydrate with little fiber or fat. The nutrients from juicing are absorbed into the blood stream immediately, which is great for quick energy, but not sustained energy. For sustained energy, you need some fat and protein to keep the sugars going longer. Having a juice with a small breakfast could be a very healthy, delicious way to start the day. You could try a glass of mixed fruit and vegetable juice with a slice of whole grain toast and nut butter, for example. Or, if in a hurry, even a juice with a handful of nuts might work!

I definitely recommend the Jack La Lanne juicer to anyone who wants to try juicing! My only complaint is that it is a little bulky and will require some counter space. Other than that, it’s really a bargain for about $100 at a kitchen or big box store! So get juicing to get more energy, a stronger immune system, and healthier skin! Do what I did, juice everyday for at least a month and see how you feel. I bet you’ll notice a huge difference! My biggest improvement came in my energy levels. Juicing is great for giving you that jumpstart you crave or for helping boost your energy when that afternoon slump arrives.

Reader Question:

If you use this juicer, how do you like it?
